Between Dreams

Between Dreams is a gallery and art shop, showcasing local artists from the Southampton area. We were approached to create a website which would allow them to display the wide range of artists work they have. Being an art gallery, they had a complex specific design in mind, however had the key requirement that they should be able to update the content of the site themselves.

The solution was to create a table-less structure in php, utilising JavaScript to provide additional functionality and flexibility. Behind this sits a MySQL database to hold the relevant artist information, as well as news, links, and other changeable content.

One of the great features of the site is the gallery pages, using php generated JavaScript to produce a stunning display of artists' work.

In addition, extensive secure admin pages are provided to allow almost all aspects of the site to be edited and updated. Changes are logged to allow easy traceability within the organisation, and our user stats package was seamlessly incorporated into the interface to provide Between Dreams with full control over their own website.
